As we enter the spooky season of Halloween, don't let the current real estate market spook you too! There is still opportunity when you're ready to start down the path of either upgrading to your next home or buying your first home.
It's never too early to start planning, even if your timeline is well into 2024 and beyond. Here's a few tips I think will be useful to be poised and ready to succeed when the timing is right for you.
- Start making a plan with a trusted real estate advisor
Getting a strategy in place now will help you down the road. Whether you're buying, selling or both it's worth getting started now so you can stay on track and be ready.
- Discuss your financing options with a savvy lender.
There are many loan products available that can be customized to fit your needs an unique scenarios and goals. I have a few great ones if you'd like to be referred and start looking into your options.
- If you already own a home, consider getting a current home valuation
The market is always changing and having an accurate idea of what your home is worth in today's market will help advise many aspects of your strategy. A valuation you received even six months ago might miss the mark. Request a complimentary home valuation here.
- Get familiarized (or re-familiarized) with the buying process
I put together a guide to walk you through the process, considerations, most common documents and school info. You can access the buyer's eguide here.
- Understand the process of selling
I also have. a great guide that will walk you through the selling process and highlight some of the things I think are most important during the process. You can access all of that info and more in my pre-listing eguide here.
- Kick back and know that you can get to where you want to be, in any market, with a solid strategy and planning.
Stay safe and enjoy your Halloween!
