West Highland

Just northwest of Downtown Denver, you can find the charming neighborhood of West Highland which serves as the true heart of the Highlands neighborhood.  From what started as the original central neighborhood in the area, to becoming one of Denver’s hottest neighborhoods, West Highland continues to have a lot to offer its residents and visitors alike.  

West Highland provides a mix of distinctive architecture — including historic Bungalows, Victorians, Denver Squares, Classic Cottages, as well as many options for new construction.  Residents enjoy the tree-lined streets, culinary scene, and easy access to parks, downtown, and the mountains.

Take a stroll along 32nd near Highland Square and make sure to grab a bite at Blue Pan Pizza, my favorite pizza of all time.  A few other great spots include American Elm, known for its elevated fare, classic cocktails in a relaxed setting with a great patio, Tacos Tequila and Whiskey for Mexican food, and Hey Kiddo on Tennyson Street.

Beer enthusiasts will appreciate the thriving craft beer scene in West Highland and beyond. Check out Hogshead Brewery for traditional British-style ales or visit Oasis Brewing and FlyteCo for a wide range of handcrafted brews.
